Mica splitting

Mica splitting consists of layers split from mica blocks. Mica splitting is generally processed manually with sharp knives to the required thickness. Mica splitting has superior electrical qualities, such as high dielectric strength, and also has excellent mechanical strength. Mica Splitting are more commonly used in the manufacture of built up mica insulating raw materials that are used for making parts for in electric motors, generators, transformers and other electrical products. Mica splitting is available in all Ruby and Spotted quality in all grades.
